Feb 1. LAST DAY!
We stayed in Sanfrancisco de Yojoa, our own community today. It was nice not to have to drive far to serve. It was a very long day, lots of patients. This was one of the unhealthiest of the communities this week. All week we saw 11 cases of malnutrition, 6 of them were from here. They also had 30 cases of anemia. Two communities had less than 7 cases while three communities averaged 32 cases each. In total we saw 590 patients, dewormed 850 people, gave 250 doses of vitamin A to children. The dentist pulled 128 teeth. 105 people were anemic. We poured 30 concrete floors benefitting 68 adults and 76 children and gave 928 people vitamins. A good week. Love Karen
